NCT Price Increase

Customers please be aware that from 1st February 2012 the cost of a full NCT will increase to €55.00, the price of a Re-test remains the same at €28.00.

NCT Test items update 1st January 2012

Some of the test items in the NCT test have been modified to comply with the requirements of the Directive 2010/48/EU. View the full list of the items which take effect from 1st January 2012, a revised copy of the NCT manual is now available for download.

  • Annual NCT for cars 10 years and older commencing 1st June 2011. This means that all cars presented for their 10th anniversary or subsequent NCT on or after 1st June 2011 will receive a certificate valid for up to one year only

  • From the 1st January 2010, the owner/ presenter of the vehicle will be required to produce a form of identification (Driving Licence or Passport only) when presenting the vehicle for inspection at the Test Centre.
