NCTS have engaged with the Motor Trade since its introduction back in 2000. We have seen many enhancements to the NCT over the last number of years which can be attributed to technical information received from the motor trade. We want to continue to enhance and encourage further communication with the trade and maintain the open door policy that is already in place at the local test centres.
NCTS are therefore inviting all garages who wish to organise a visit to their local test centre to discuss various topics such as the test process, issues they may have with certain models of cars or even to benchmark your equipment against the test centres equipment.
If you are interested in arranging an informal meeting with your local centre then please contact us on email@example.com leaving your name, phone number and the name of your garage and a member of our staff will then contact you to arrange a time that is most convenient for you.
Should you wish to be included on future communication from NCTS please contact us to ensure your garage name is on our mailing distribution list.
Integrity is an important element of the National Car Test, if you feel that the integrity of the service has been compromised in any way and would like to speak with someone in confidence; you can do so either by phone or email on the following:
We are no longer offering the facility of a 1890 number as the caller may incur a higher cost than when calling a national number.
If you are unable to find the answer to your query on the FAQ page then please contact a member of our Customer Enquiries Team who will be happy to answer any query you may have in relation to the National Car Test.
The Road Safety Authority contacts a sample of customers for the purposes of customer service research. If you do not wish to be contacted to undertake customer service research please send your name and address to: firstname.lastname@example.org and you will not be included in any future surveys.
