NCTS are reopening the NCT service on a phased basis from the 8 June 2020 with the reopening of 15 centres.

All NCT bookings must be made online only.

Customers of those vehicles that had a test due date prior to 28 March 2020 are now invited to make a booking for one of the centres reopening: Cork – Little Island, Cork – Blarney, Northpoint 1 & 2, Dublin, Deansgrange, Dublin, Fonthill, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Letterkenny, Athlone, Ballina, Naas, Drogheda and Derrybeg

Be advised, that some customers may experience difficulty contacting our call centre. We are operational however due to social distancing measures we are operating with significantly reduced staffing levels. Click here for more information and FAQ's


REMEMBER - If you wish to make an appointment for an NCT then please go to our on-line bookings which allows you to choose the test centre, time and date that suits you.

NCTS have engaged with the Motor Trade since its introduction back in 2000. We have seen many enhancements to the NCT over the last number of years which can be attributed to technical information received from the motor trade. We want to continue to enhance and encourage further communication with the trade and maintain the open door policy that is already in place at the local test centres.

NCTS are therefore inviting all garages who wish to organise a visit to their local test centre to discuss various topics such as the test process, issues they may have with certain models of cars or even to benchmark your equipment against the test centres equipment.

If you are interested in arranging an informal meeting with your local centre then please contact us on leaving your name, phone number and the name of your garage and a member of our staff will then contact you to arrange a time that is most convenient for you.
