Integrity is an important element of the National Car Test. if you feel that the integrity of the service has been compromised or you want to report a possible violation of our code of Ethics or other regulation, then please submit it using our online Ethics and Compliance channel.


NCTS have engaged with the Motor Trade since its introduction back in 2000. We have seen many enhancements to the NCT over the last number of years which can be attributed to technical information received from the motor trade. We want to continue to enhance and encourage further communication with the trade and maintain the open door policy that is already in place at the local test centres.

NCTS are therefore inviting all garages who wish to organise a visit to their local test centre to discuss various topics such as the test process, issues they may have with certain models of cars or even to benchmark your equipment against the test centres equipment.

If you are interested in arranging an informal meeting with your local centre then please contact us on leaving your name, phone number and the name of your garage and a member of our staff will then contact you to arrange a time that is most convenient for you.
